About Hollie

Hollie Chapman is a versatile and exciting violinist and electric violinist based in Hampshire, UK. She is available to hire for weddings, parties, corporate events, recording sessions, and orchestral concerts throughout the UK and worldwide.

Having started learning the violin at the age of seven, Hollie went on to study for a bachelor of music degree in violin performance at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, receiving a part scholarship to attend the conservatoire. .

She is now leading a busy freelance playing career, which includes regularly working with a number of different string quartets, orchestras and bands. Although classically trained, Hollie enjoys exploring many different musical styles, including folk and popular music. Hollie has performed at some of the country’s most prestigious concert venues, including the Royal Albert Hall and Birmingham Symphony Hall, as well as some of the most popular and beautiful wedding venues around the UK.

Hollie also enjoys teaching the violin, and is violin tutor at West Hill Park preparatory school in Hampshire.

Hollie plays on an acoustic violin by G.A Chanot, made in Manchester and dated 1895. She also plays a Bridge Aquila black electric violin and LED violin by Ted Brewer.
